Product Manager for lubricants, greases and specialty products

to join our Marketing & Services, Product Management team in Espoo.


In your role you will focus on product planning and lifecycle management. We have a team of Product Managers and Product Specialists working with all Neste Marketing & Services products as marketer and seller of cleaner fuels and oil products. Our roles in the implementation of Neste’s strategy are the product management and development of lubricants and other specialty products in the Marketing & Services business.


In addition to consumers, the company serves retailers, heating oil customers, fleet customers, industry and agriculture. Our objective is to renew the customer experience, reform the way of doing business and improve operational excellence. Driven by the best customer experience, our Marketing & Services business area offers sustainable solutions for the needs of consumers and a wide variety of B2B customers.


You will work closely with our customers, sales, marketing, operations, suppliers and business development teams to create products that create value for our customers and Neste. Our work combines accountability, cooperation, and the desire to develop and renew. You will report to the Product Management Manager located in Espoo.


Our team members work wherever they feel the most productive and we provide the possibility to work both remotely and in the office. In order to improve the cooperation and engagement we also meet twice a week at the office.

Your role in creating a sustainable future

  • Product Portfolio owner and leading the product development in selected lubricants product areas
  • Sustaining and developing product portfolios working together closely with other teams and suppliers
  • Leading the Product Lifecycle Management process in selected product areas
  • Following and analysing market trends, technical innovations, specifications and data

Keys to success in this role

  • Master’s degree in Chemistry
  • Fluency in Finnish and English
  • 5 years or more of work experience, especially with product development will be an advantage
  • Approach challenges with an analytical way
  • Be social and have a track record of building networks
  • Be a confident performer and good team player
  • Be innovative and willing to develop lubricant product portfolio
  • Sales minded and goal oriented
  • Have readiness to travel sometimes to support, together with our sales, the customers and meet the suppliers

The recruitment process will include interviews and a possible aptitude assessment. The first interviews are preliminarily scheduled to take place on week 23.
